Description

The role of the stroke coordinator is critical to a high functioning stroke center. Join us as we discuss the ins and outs of the role and offer tips and tricks for success. Both new and experienced coordinators will benefit from this session.

Objectives:

• Define the role and responsibilities of the stroke coordinator
• Discuss stroke core measures and what to expect during stroke surveys
• Explain the why behind the standard stroke work up

About the Presenter

Amy Nieberlein, MSN, ACNP, FNP is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over twenty years of front-line healthcare experience. Amy joined Blue Sky as a teleneurohospitalist provider in 2022. Amy has extensive experience in a dual APRN/stroke coordinator role at a large comprehensive stroke center in Denver, CO. In her free time, Amy loves to camp and kayak with her family.
